Best practices were used to develop the Student Assessment and Evaluation Policy and Procedure. The procedure can be viewed here.
Standardized Grading Scale
A grading scale has been developed to help ensure standardization across the program. View it here.
GPA
Grade Point Averages (GPAs) are weighted calculations based on the grade received and the credit value of the course. GPA calculations are used to determine Academic Standing.
Academic Standing
Academic Standing is the standard used to determine or measure a student’s eligibility to remain and/or progress in a program. Designations include Good Standing, Academic Probation, Graduation Warning, and Academic Suspension. IXD is covered by the Academic Standing Degree Programs standard. Detailed information is available here.
Final Grade Submission
Final grades are submitted through Access Sheridan (not SLATE). This term’s final grades are due by 5pm on December 18th. Instructions on how to submit grades are available here.
